Product Description

BT-8088 is a hydrophobic redispersible powder obtained by spray drying of an modified aqueous vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersion. It offers all the advantages of a free-flowing powder additives such as excellent adhesion and flexibility. Special composition and hydroehntages , the mortar using this kind of hydrophobic latex powder can give the system long-lasting water resistance and significantly reduce water absorption.
Applications: BT8088 can be used in a varietv of applications in the construction industry to improve key properties of cementa and gypsum based formulations. Specially developed for EIFS's base coat:

1. Thermal insulation system reinforcement layer

5. Repair mortars
